Battling deadly pride and superiority can be a real challenge. Pride can be good or bad. It human to take pride and dignity when you have achieved or accomplished something. Yet, Brendon Burchard in his book High-Performance Habits, said that pride when becomes the source of superiority and belittling others is deadly. Superiority is indeed a complex mix of both pride and prejudice.
Pride Is Deadly And So Is Superiority
Pride kills high-performance because you feel like you know it all. You become close-minded to the many more things that you are yet to learn because you feel superior. You tend to forget that you were once a miss and was given the opportunity to improve. Being superior than others will kill your eye for what beauty there may be in building genuine relationships with other people. You become insincere with your dealings.
